♦ Make sure there are no foreign bodies in the beans
before grinding.
♦ Ground coffee holder (E) and its lid must be correctly
positioned in the grinder.
Use:
♦ Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use
♦ Fit the ground coffee holder (E) and its lid in their
correct positions. Check that the assembly in correctly
positioned in the body.
♦ Remove the coffee bean hopper lid (Fig.1).
♦ Put coffee beans into the bean hopper (Fig.1).
♦ Do not fill above MAX level.
♦ Put on the bean hopper lid (A) and make certain it is
correctly positioned.
♦ Set the quantity of ground coffee you want by positioning
the number of quantity selector (D) according to desired
quantity.
♦ Set the ground coffee fineness by adjusting the grind
setting selector (G) to the desired level.
♦ Connect the appliance to the mains.
♦ Press the ON/OFF button (C) to start the appliance
♦ The appliance will start operating
♦ Once the selected quantity has been milled, the appli-
ance will stop automatically.
♦ If you want to stop the appliance before, then press the
ON/OFF button (C).
♦ Remove the ground coffee holder, tap the receptacle
gently, remove the lid and pour the ground coffee
obtained directly into the filter of the coffee maker (if
drip one), or use a measuring spoon if it is an Espresso
coffee maker.
♦ Selected setting will be retained from one use to the
next.
♦ Note: View the consistency of coffee ground from the
transparent coffee bean hopper lid.
♦ Attention: If you want to remove the cover to check the
consistency of the coffee grounds, it must be noted nev-
er remove the cover until blades comes to a complete
stop.
Grinding size regulator (Fig.2):
♦ The suitable grinding size depends on the characteristics
of the bean, humidity and roast. Not all types of coffee
have the same characteristics, so is recommended to
do a trial run with each coffee batch and if is necessary,
adjust the grinding size.
♦ The Espresso coffee requires finely ground coffee (to

retain the passage of liquid), while the coffee drip coffee
need thicker.
♦ To select more coarsely ground size, turn the knob
regulator (Fig.2) clockwise.
WARNING:
♦ Do not adjust the grind setting while the grinder is work-
ing. If you turn the grind selection knob while the grinder
is working, the motor of the grinder may jam.
♦ Do not use for more than two cycles for each load of
coffee beans and rest 1 min between two cycles,to avoid
the motor overheating.
♦ Clean the appliance after each use, do not use this
appliance to grind any other food.
Once you have finished using the appli-
ance:
♦ Stop the appliance by pressing the on/off button.
♦ Unplug the appliance from the mains.
♦ Clean the appliance.
Grinding tips:
♦ For the freshest, most flavoursome coffee; grind only
enough for the pot you are making.
♦ Coffee grounds left in your grinder can become stale
and affect the flavour of freshly ground coffee. Be sure
to clean grinding chamber, blades and cover after each
use.
♦ Never use it to chop ice cubes.
♦ Keep your coffee beans in the refrigerator in a sealed
container.
♦ To keep your coffee's entire aroma, we advise you to
grind your coffee just a few moments before making it.

♦ The appliance has a safety device, which protects the
appliance from overheating.
CLEANING
♦ Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to
cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
♦ Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops
of washing-up liquid and then dry.
♦ Clean the ground coffee holder, removeable upper blade
and the coffee bean hopper lid with water.
