Tip rotation
"No work" position used only to rotate a flat chisel to the desired position Select the required operating mode
by pressing the safety button and turning the mode selector switch until it points to the required mode
symbol Release the safety pad and make sure the mode selector switch is locked in place. Do not select
the operating mode while the machine is running.
Always wait until the machine has completely stopped before changing the drilling, percussion drilling
function.
Do not use the chuck with SDS connector in association with the hammer drill hammer function.
8 USE
Important: When drilling with percussion, you would need to exert excessive pressure applied to an unneces-
sary load on the engine.
Check the drill bits regularly. Re-sharpen or replace dull drill bits.
8.1 On / Off (Fig. 6)
Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
To switch the tool on, press the on / off switch (8).
Release the on / off switch to stop the tool.
If you press the lock button (9) while pressing the on / off switch, the latter will remain in the operating position.
Release the on / off switch (8) to turn off the tool.
The stronger you press the on / off switch (8) the faster the tool will work.
To start, use lower speeds.
8.2 Forward / reverse lever
The forward / reverse lever (7) allows to define the direction of rotation of the tool. To select forward rotation, release the on /
off switch and push the forward / reverse lever to the right (R) of the tool. To select the reverse rotation, push the lever to the
left (L) of the tool.
When changing the position of the lever, make sure that the on / off switch has been released and that the engine is stopped.
