The starting pressure is adjusted with the screw on the back of the device (fig.4).
5. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Check that the line voltage is ~220/240V. Remove cover 1 from the controller and make
the connections as shown on plate 2 (FIG. 2). The OPTIMATIC 22 can be used with a
single-phase pump supplied with more than 16 A, or a three-phase pump, using an auxiliary
contactor (230V coil). In this case the electrical connections shall be made according to
the diagram in figure 3.
ATTENTION
Incorrect connections may render the electronic circuit unusable. To ensure IP65 degree
of protection it is necessary to use cables of the following type: H07RN - F 3G1,5 (Ø9 ÷12
mm).
6. IMPLEMENTATION
1. Check that the pump is primed and then slightly open a tap on the installation.
2- Connect the OPTIMATIC to the mains. The power indicator light will come on (POWER).
3. The pump unit starts automatically and within 20-25 seconds the pressure
gauge should reach approximately the maximum pressure supplied by the pump.
While the pump is running, the corresponding indicator light (ON) will remain lit.
Close the tap indicated in point 1. After 10-12 seconds the pump should stop. Only the
voltage indicator (POWER) will remain lit. Any abnormal operation after these operations will
be due to incorrect priming of the pump.
