INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
- When using the drill, the operator may experience discomfort in the hands, arms, shoulders, or neck area. Adopt a comfortable
posture, avoiding unfavourable positions. Changing posture may help avoid discomfort and fatigue.
- Do not clean the drill with petrol, benzene, diluents, alcohol or the like.
Caution: if the tool is used over a protracted period of time, parts of it may become hot. Wear protective gloves.
Using the drill on the workpiece generates noise, which may prove harmful to the exposed personnel. A proper phonometric
survey is required to determine the personal hearing protective equipment (hearing protection) to use.
If a specially conducted survey suggests that the daily exposure to vibration generated from the drill exceeds the limit value
under the regulations in force in the respective country, anti-vibration gloves must be worn.
- If you notice that the skin of your fingers becomes numb, tingles or hurts, stop working with the drill, inform your employer and
seek medical advice.
- Hold the drill securely, though not too firmly, according to the required reaction force of the hand.

BATTERY DRILL USE AND CARE
- Do not overload the drill. Use the drill only as intended.
- Do not use if the switch does not work properly. If the tool cannot be controlled by means of the switch, it is dangerous and must
be repaired.
- Always check that the tool is free from defects. Do not use a drill that has a defective on/off switch. A drill that can no longer be
stopped or started is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Make any adjustments when the drill is off. When the drill is not used, disconnect the battery. This safety measure prevents
accidental starting of the drill.
- Have the drill repaired only through trained personnel. Only use original replacement parts. For such jobs, you can contact Beta
Utensili S.p.A.'s repair centre.
- The start button must not be locked with adhesive tape or clamps.
Use clamping devices or a vice to secure and support the workpiece. Holding the workpiece by hand or against
your body will not allow for safe operation of the drill.
