A step-to-step guide to measuring
your blood pressure
Connect the cuff to the unit by inserting the plug connec-
tor firmly into the socket on the left side of the unit.

Set the pressure selector switch 'DRUCKVORWAHL'
to the desired cuff pressure which should be at least 30
to 40 mmHg higher than the systolic (upper) blood pres-
sure reading. If you are not sure of this value, set the sel-
ector switch to 150 mmHg for the first measurement.
If this pressure is insufficient, the unit will switch over to
the next higher pressure setting automatically.
