Limited Mode (Model ST & Model MT) - Limited Mode Overview
3. Enter the SSID password and press Enter to save.
The unit will confirm a successful Wi-Fi connection and return to the
System Settings Menu. The connected SSID will be displayed in blue.
NOTE: Perfect flame units will not connect to open networks
that are not password protected.
1. From the System Settings Menu, press the License Settings icon. The
unit will display the current contract Expiration Date.
2. Enter the registration code provided as part of the Perfect Flame
agreement.
3. Press Enter to save and return to the System Settings Menu.
NOTE: The license will be validated every 24 hours based
upon the Server Upload Time. Settings such as Machine
Name and System Date and Time will be updated upon
successful validation of the license. If the unit is unable to
connect to a Wi-Fi network or the Perfect Flame server, it will
continue to operate until the Expiration Date has passed.
The Server Upload Time determines what time of day the unit will attempt
to contact the Perfect Flame server to validate the license and upload any
usage data. The unit must be powered on in order to upload data.
1. From the System Settings Menu, press the Server Upload Time icon.
The unit will display the Current System Time and the Current Upload
Time.
2. Set a New Upload Time using the 24 hour clock (i.e. 2:00 PM = 14 HH
00 MM).
3. Press Save. Unit will display "server upload time changed" then press
DONE button and return to the System Settings Menu.
If the unit is unable to contact the server to validate the license and the
license has expired, the system will run in Limited Mode. This mode allows
continued use without the ability to set or access Flame and Job Settings,
or view calculated flame chemistry and ratios.
The system will present an alert when the license has expired. There are
two options upon contract expiration:
1. Use the unit with limited functionality. Press Manual Mode to continue.
2. Update the license key if current one is no longer valid. Press Update
License to continue. NOTE: The system must be connected to a Wi-Fi
network before updating the license.
