Wear protective gloves during
assembly and cleaning work!
Do not reach into the knife blades!
Only assemble with the blade guard
attached (I)!
Slide the blade guard (I) onto the blade
bar (H)!
6.1 Assembling the connecting

After removing from the packaging,
assemble both parts of the tubes (E/F)
together, as illustrated
assembling, make sure that the attach-
ment lug fits into the groove as illustrat-
ed to ensure that both tubes (G) are in
the correct position.

Now tighten the screw connection
(E) by hand by turning it clockwise.
Make sure that the cable is not
trapped!
6.2
Height adjustment
Your
wheels fully assembled. The factory-set
cutting height is 3 cm. However, pro-
ceed as follows if you wish to adjust the
cutting height to 4 cm or 5 cm:

Use the allen key supplied (3 mm) to
remove both wheels from the wheel
mountings and then mount them in
one of the 2 other wheel mountings.
Pay attention to the order of the
washers (large metal washer touch-
es the yellow housing, small metal
washer touches the screw head,
white PTFE washer in between) and
make sure that both wheels are
mounted at the same height. The
respective cutting heights are
marked on the mountings.
CAUTION
RISK OF INJURY DUE TO INCORRECT
ASSEMBLY!
Make sure that all parts and screws are
securely tightened so that the appliance
is in a safe working condition. Do not
start the appliance until it has been fully
assembled!

Hz (for non-EU countries 220 V, 240 V
as applicable). Contact your nearest
authorised specialist dealer for details.
DANGER
Inadequate extension cables can be
dangerous. Extension cable, plug and
socket must be of watertight construc-
tion and intended for outdoor use.
If you want to use an extension cable
when operating your grass shear, only
the following cable dimensions should
be used:
- 1,5 mm

– max. length 20 m

- 2,5 mm
– max. length 50 m
NOTE!
If an extension cable is used it must be
earthed and connected through the plug
to the earth cable of your supply network
in accordance with prescribed safety reg-
ulations. The mains plug and coupling of
the extension cable must be water tight
and may not be placed in water. The cou-
pling may not be on the floor.
7.1 Commisioning
ATTENTION
Improper use of the appliance poses a
risk of damage to property! You
should therefore observe the follow-
ing safety instructions:
When working on the lawn border,
make sure that you do not damage
the edge of the curb (e.g. when tilting
or tipping the appliance) or that the
edge of the curb damages or bends
the blade bar.
The knife blades are precisely
adjusted for grass cutting. Cutting
