22.4.3 - ETHERNET NETWORK
The network operation of devices works very similarly to that described via the CAN network. It is important that the
IP address is static.
Likewise, it is necessary to differentiate the equipment by means of the equipment address, where address 1 will
always be that of the DATABASE and REGISTRATION LOCATION. Other equipment must be configured with non-re-
peating addresses. To create the network, in the BASE device menu, i.e. address 1, press the right arrow to access
the device search menu.
By pressing search, the devices connected to the network will respond to the BASE's command with the address and
hostname information, which associated with each piece of equipment help to identify which ones should be part of
the same network as this device, through the checkbox of each piece of equipment. Up to 8 pieces of equipment can
be connected on the same network, with the BASE device.
