If, despite recharging, the battery life is getting
■
significantly shorter, the battery is exhausted and
needs to be replaced.
Explosion hazard
¾ Do not use damaged, defective or
distorted batteries.
WARNING!
Risk of fire or property damage
¾ Remove the battery and unplug the
charger if you leave it unattended.
Replacing the mouthpiece (fig. II – IV)
Remove the cover of the compartment for mouthpieces
[6] and select an appropriate mouthpiece [2].
Note
Using mouthpieces of the wrong size
results in faulty riveting.
Remove the old mouthpiece [2].
■
Press the On/Off switch [8] while screwing
■
the mouthpiece [2] tightly into place using the
key [12]
Put mouthpieces which are not being used into
■
the compartment for mouthpieces [6] and close
the compartment with the cover.
Riveting
Insert the blind rivet into the mouthpiece [2].
■
Insert the blind rivet vertically into the hole for the
■
rivet and slightly press in.
Press the On/Off switch [8] and release again
■
when the rivet has been inserted.
In order to dispose of the rivet mandrel, tilt the
■
power tool towards the back so that the riveting
mandrel drops into the collecting container or tilt
it towards the front so that the riveting mandrel
falls out of the mouthpiece.
Empty the mandrel collector [5] regularly.
■
Overload protection
The power tool is equipped with an overload
protection. In the event of an overload, the riveting
procedure is interrupted and the overload indicator
[7] is lit. Release the switch so that the power tool
can return to the initial position.
