MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Do not let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based materials
touch the plastic parts. Chemicals can cause damage to the
plastic, and make the plastic unserviceable.
CAUTION
Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic
housing or components.
WARNING
Remove the battery pack from the machine before
maintenance.
12.1
CLEAN THE MACHINE
•
Clean dust and dirt off the battery with a dry cloth or soft,
dry brush.
•
Do not use solvents or aggressive detergents to clean the
battery. They may damage the polymer housing and other
components.
•
Do not spray the battery with water.
12.2
STOW THE MACHINE
•
Remove the connecting cord from the power tool or
adapte.
•
Remove the adapter from the power tool or charger.
•
Store the battery indoors in a dry, secure place that cannot
be accessed by children or other unauthorized users.
•
Never store the battery in damp or corrosive
environments or in conditions that could lead to the
corrosion of its metal components.
•
Never store the battery plugged into the adapte or power
tool.
•
Never store the battery in a metal container or in a
container with metal objects (e.g., paper clips, nails,
coins, keys).
