Installation of the pump:
disconnect the submerged electrical appliances at the mains power supply and check that the
voltage on the label affixed to the product corresponds to the voltage of your mains power supply.
Submerged use:
remove the pre-filter grid (2) by pressing by your finger on both sides, insert the
suction caps in the recesses provided (13), insert either the horizontal or vertical bracket (11-12),
insert the pre-filter grid (2), insert the outlet nozzle (8) on the pump for connecting either rigid or
flexible tubing, position the pump in the purpose department.
Non-submerged use:
the suction caps in the recesses provided (13), insert either the horizontal or vertical bracket (11-
12), remove the front lid (1) by pushing it out from the pre-filter grid (2), insert both the outlet and
inlet nozzle (4-8) on the pump for connecting either rigid or flexible tubing, insert the pre-filter grid
without the front lid.
Note:
to ensure the pump operates and performs correctly, we recommend that pump is fully
submerged below water level.
Maintenance of the pump:
supply and remove the pump.
Submerged use:
release the pre-filter grid (2) from the pump body, remove the pre-chamber fixing
ring (5) by turning it anti-clockwise, remove the pre-chamber (6), extract the impeller (7) without
bending it and proceed with rinsing it under warm running water. To reassemble the pump invert
the above procedure.
Non-submerged use:
(4), remove the pre-chamber fixing ring (5) by turning it anti-clockwise, remove the pre-chamber
(6), extract the impeller (7) without bending it and proceed with rinsing it under warm running
water. To reassemble the pump invert the above procedure.
Caution:
do not use soap or other types of detergents, if necessary use a toothbrush to remove
any stubborn dirt build-up.
Safety regulations:
switch set to 30 mA. Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the label
affixed to the unit. This appliance is intended for indoor use only and is designed for water
temperatures up to 35°C. Do not use this appliance with corrosive or abrasive liquids. Before
connecting to the mains supply make sure the cable an the appliance are not damaged in any
way. The power cable cannot be replaced or repaired if damaged replace the whole unit. Do not
use the appliance for any purpose other than those described above. Before handling or touching
the power cable disconnect from the mains. If the plug or power socket get wet, shut-off the mains
before disconnecting the cable. Keep the appliance out of reach of children. To avoid the plug or
socket from getting wet due to dripping water, we suggest bending the cable under the level of the
power socket (see photo 1). Do not lift the appliance by its cable.
Electrical safety standards for Class II appliances
The Class II pump has a twin cable, double insulation and is not provided with an earthing
conductor.
Guarantee:
This guarantee covers defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twenty-
four months from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not cover defects caused by
tampering, negligence or incorrect use of the appliance. All consumable parts which are replaced
regularly for normal maintenance purposes or subject to normal wear are not covered by this
guarantee. The guarantee certificate has to be completed by the retailer/dealer and must always
accompany the appliance. The completed guarantee certificate and sales receipt or receipt note
for fiscal purposes, as proof of date of purchase, must be sent together with the appliance in the
event it is returned.
