KELLNER EYEPIECES:
They are composed of two lens that are separated by a diaphragm. Its function is to take
the image from the objective to the eye.

TOTAL MAGNIFICATIONS:
It is the result of multiplying the eyepiece magnification and the objective magnification.

W.F: Wide Field
P: Plan achromatic
R: Retractil
I: Immersion objective
N.A.: It determines the characteristics of the objective. The larger digital aperture makes
a brighter and better resolved image.
Working distance: It is the distance (mm) between the preparation and the frontal lens of
the objective when the microscope is focussed.
Focal distance: It is the distance (mm) between the main plan image of the system and its
focus image.
Resolution: It is the reciprocal value of the separator power, which expresses the minimum
distance in which two small particles under the lens can be separated. It will be calculated
in lines/mm.
Number of field: It expresses the diameter (mm) of the diaphragm of field that is composed
of the eyepiece.
Field of view: It is the size (mm) of the real field we are observing.
