WARNING:
This detector is not suitable for installation in a hazardous location, as defined in the national electrical code.
Do not use detector in an outlet controlled by a wall switch.
8. Line up the side slot of the bracket and the detector. Push the detector onto the mounting bracket
and turn it clockwise to secure it into place.
Insert the locking pin in order to secure the mounting bracket to the detector (see Figure 7).
9. Pull the detector outward to make sure it is securely attached to the mounting bracket.
RED INDICATOR
When the red LED indicator (see Figure 9) flashes once in 30 seconds, it indicates the detector is
operating normally. When the red LED is illuminated continuously, and simultaneously an audible
alarm sounds, this indicates the detector is responding to an alarm trigger.
