14. Steam only in a vertical motion. Never use steamer in horizontal position or tilted
backwards - doing so may result in hot water discharge.
15. Never yank cord to disconnect from electrical outlet. Instead, grasp plug and pull
to disconnect.
16. USE CAUTION - burns could occur from touching hot parts, or proximity to hot water
or steam. Do not turn unit upside down - there may be hot water in Tank.
17. To reduce likelihood of circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage
appliance on the same circuit.
18. Use distilled or demineralized water in Garment steamer.
19. Do not allow cord to contact heated surfaces. Do not pull or twist cord. Let appliance
cool completely before storing. Loop cord loosely around appliance when storing.
20. Always put appliance on a secure, level surface, such as a table or counter,
when using.
21. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to alter this safety feature.
22. Do not cut or attempt to extend the steam hose or power cord.
23. Before plugging in Garment steamer, be sure electrical information on the label
agrees with your power supply. Connecting to the incorrect voltage may cause
irreparable damage to the appliance and will invalidate the warranty.
24. Never pour water directly into the reservoir. Pour water in the water tank only.
25. When changing attachments, please make sure that the unit is OFF and no steam is
being released, in order to avoid contact with hot water.
26. Use caution when changing attachments, as they may contain hot water from
condensation.
27. To preserve the internal motor, it is recommended to turn off the steam button when
unattended.
