MonoControl CS installation and
connection
The MonoControl CS must be installed in such a way that
the high-pressure hose connection is in the highest possible
location, which must be at least higher than the cylinder valve
level (broken line).
The high-pressure hose must slope downwards all the way to
the cylinder valve.
Installation above the cylinder valve makes it more
difficult for gas in the liquid phase to penetrate the low
pressure area, particularly while driving.
The MonoControl CS is connected to the high-pressure line
via the male thread M20 x 1.5 (G.13) at the inlet side and con-
nected to the gas pipe via an olive screw connection (8 or
10 mm) at the outlet side.
With 30 mbar systems with 8 mm gas pipes, the enclosed
Z 10 / RVS 8 adapter (for trade only) must be used.
When it is being used outdoors, the MonoControl CS must be
protected from the elements with a protection hood.
Choose a suitable position for the MonoControl CS, in
particular:
Type plate legible
Reset button recognisable and easy to access
Avoid damage during cylinder replacement
Make it difficult for gas in the liquid phase to penetrate the
regulation system
Allow enough room to retrofit the DuoComfort
Route the high-pressure hose without tension.
Fasten to a stable wall / ceiling with 2 screws.
Ensure the component is firmly attached.
Connect the 8 mm or 10 mm gas supply pipe to the regulator
outlet according to the respective installation instructions for
olive screw connections (e.g. EN ISO 8434-1). When tight-
ening, carefully use a second spanner on the provided span-
ner surfaces to keep the entire assembly from turning.
Attach high pressure hose (only with hose rupture pro-
tection device) to the inlet of the gas pressure regulation
system using an angle union (a) if necessary (see
"Accessories").
