Product usage
NOTE:
The slots of the splatter guard are designed for resting the fondue forks when
needed. The fondue forks come with coloured ends so guests can easily identify
their utensil.
10. Let the food cool down on your plate before eating and eat with a dinner fork.
CAUTION!
Do not eat with the fondue forks to avoid injury. The fondue forks are designed with
sharp tips and long handles for spearing and dipping foods only. Set the fondue fork
on the side of your plate, keeping in mind that it will be hot as well after dipping.
11. Stir the fondue occasionally with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula to prevent food from
sticking to the bottom of the fondue pot.
NOTE:
Do not stir the fondue with a metal utensil or fondue fork, or cut food directly in
the fondue pot, in order to avoid scratching the non-stick coating of the fondue
pot. Use a wooden spoon or silicone spatula for stirring.
12. Once finished using the appliance, turn the thermostat knob to the "0" (OFF) position,
and unplug the appliance from the wall socket.
13. Allow the appliance and all accessories to cool down completely before cleaning (see
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE).
WARNING!
RISK OF FIRE: Overheated oil or fat can ignite very quickly. Never leave heating oil
or fat unsupervised. Should the oil ignite, do not try to put it out by pouring water
on it. Cover the fondue pot with a lid or plate immediately. Turn off and unplug the
appliance, and leave the fondue pot on the base unit to cool down.
