1.4 Warnings in this document
Warnings warn about dangers that can occur
when handling the power tool. They come in
four danger levels that can be distinguished
by the signal word:
Signal Meaning

DANGER Indicates a danger with high
risk, which can cause death or
severe injuries if it is not
avoided.
WARNING Indicates a danger with
medium risk, which can cause
severe injuries if it is not
avoided.
CAUTON Indicates a danger with low
risk, which can cause minor or
moderate injuries if it is not
avoided.
ATTEN- Indicates a danger that can
TION cause property damage.
1.5 Proper use
The TRUMPF panel cutters are hand-guided
power tools for the following applications:
– Cutting panels with metal outer shell and
polyurethane or polyisocyanurate hard
foam insulation
– Piercing panels for corner cut-outs
– Slitting after marking
– Cutting with guide rail
