Troubleshooting
General If an error cannot be rectified with reference to the following troubleshooting
list, please contact After-Sales Service and supply a detailed fault description.

Power source does not accept the remote control value and the LED arrow sym-
bol is not lit

No open-circuit voltage available
Check the power source
Break in the welding cable connection
Check that plugs, welding cable are connected properly
Poor (or no) earthing connection
Check the earth connection to the workpiece
VRD function is activated
The remote control is not fully functional when used with the VRD
function
Incorrect control board
Change the control board (at least STTP 2)
Incorrect tuning to the power source
Set the remote control as described under "Tuning the remote con-
trol to the power source"
