GettinG started & LoadinG
Welcome to the world of Fisheye! Your camera accepts all varieties (negative,
slide, B&W, etc.) and speeds of 35 mm film. For most conditions, we
recommend 400 ISO color negative film for best results (be sure to use
the flash at night or indoors). If you're shooting in VERY bright conditions,
such as the beach or a sunny ski slope, then use ISO 100 or 200 to avoid
[11]
overexposure. First off, load your battery by opening the Battery Door
on
the bottom of the camera. Using a fingernail, push it in the indicated direction
and pull it up. Insert your battery with the "+" side pointing at you. To load
your film, open the Rear Door
[12]
by pushing the Rear Switch
[5]
down.
Pull up the Rewind Crank
[3]
and insert your film cartridge into the left side,
ensuring that the film canister is correctly matched with the post below the
Rewind Crank [3]. Pull out the film leader and place the end to the right of
the Take-Up Spool [14]. Ensure that the film's top perforations are properly
matched with the Sprocket Wheel [13]. For good measure, you might want
[14]
to turn the Take-Up Spool
until it actually grabs the first hole of the film
leader's perforations.
Close the Rear Door [12], turn the Advance Wheel
[9]
until it stops and press
the Shutter Release [1]. Repeat this a few times until the Exposure Counter
