CLEANING OF THE HEATING BODY
FAQ AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Noise:
• The system will hum during normal operation due to the motor, rotor and cooling fan running.
Grinding noise:
• The steel cover is loose. Push the cover into the guide groove and rotate it to the right until the
hole aligns the nut insert inside the body. With the cover correctly fitted, the noise will disappear.
• The pump shaft may have been inadvertently bent. If this is the case, unscrew the pump cover
and gently push the rotor until it is centered.
Ungainly noise:
• The pump has formed a vortex of water such as when emptying a sink or bathtub. Add more
water or stir gently with a spoon. There is no surefire way to eliminate a vortex that forms due to
the rotation of the pump, but it usually disappears on its own.
Gurgling + Whoosh noise:
• The pump sucks in air: add more water. You should see small bubbles inside the container.
Food damage:
Unscrew the safety screw if maintenance is required.
Turn the pump cap and remove it.
The steel cover and the pump cap can be washed in
warm water and dish soap.
To clean the heating coil, pump shaft and sensors, use
dish soap, a soft brush and rinse under water.
Do not rinse or immerse the motor body and the upper
part of the heating body in water.
