Meaning of the Symbols
Soft boiled eggs
Medium hard boiled eggs
Hard boiled eggs
• Use the scale next to the egg symbols as a guide for the
number of eggs to boil.
• The indications on the scale are average values for eggs
of size M. The hardness of the cooked eggs depends
on various factors: Size and temperature of the eggs.
The preferred cooking level of the eggs can be found out
quickly by trial and error.
- If the eggs are too hard, add a little less water than
indicated to the cooking tray or a little more if the eggs
are too soft.
Using the Omelette / Poaching Insert
1. Determine the amount of water on the scale with the
marking
.
2. Lightly grease the wells in the insert with butter or marga-
rine to make it easier to remove the cooked egg later.
3. Fill with a maximum of 1 beaten egg per well.
4. Place the omelette / poaching insert on the egg holder.
