Loosen fuel cap slowly to release pressure and to keep fuel from escaping around the cap.
Tighten the fuel cap securely after refueling.
Wipe spilled fuel from the unit. Move 30 feet (9 m) away from refueling site before starting engine.
Never attempt to burn off spilled fuel under any circumstance.
Maintain the unit per maintenance instructions in this Operator's Manual.
Inspect the unit before each use for loose fasteners, fuel leaks, etc. Replace damaged parts.
To use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing/vacuuming.
To slightly dampen surfaces in dusty conditions or use mister attachment.
To use the full blower nozzle extension so the air stream can work close to the ground.

MACHINE-SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS

Always hold the blower in your right hand, refer to the Operation Instructions in this manual.
To reduce the risk of hearing loss associated with sound level, hearing protection is required.
Rotating impeller blades can cause severe injury. Stop the engine before opening the vacuum door
or installing/changing tubes. Do not put hands or any other object into the vacuum tubes while they
are installed on the unit.
To reduce the risk of injury associated with contacting rotating parts, stop the engine before
installing or removing attachments. Do not operate without guard in place. Always disconnect the
spark plug before performing maintenance or accessing any movable parts.
Do not point the blower nozzle in the direction of people or pets.

BEFORE STARTING THE EQUIPMENT

Assembly of the blow pipe
1)
Push the flexible blower hose (Fig.4 / Item. 11) over the connection to the motor unit and tighten
and secure the hose clamp (Fig.4 / Item. A).
2)
Push the handle (Fig. 5/Item 1) over the blow pipe (Fig. 5/Item 12). Align the handle (Fig. 1/Item 1)
and the stop (Fig 5/Item B) as shown in Fig.5 and screw the handle securely into position. Bring the
flexible ring (Fig. 5/item C) into the middle position so that it is the same distance away from the
stop (B) on both the left and the right side. Now push the upper blow pipe (Fig. 6/Item 12) into the
flexible blow hose (Fig. 6/ Item 11) and secure it with the hose clamp (Fig. 4/Item D).
3)
Push the lower blow pipe (Fig. 7/Item 13) over the upper blow pipe (Fig.7/Item 12) and lock it into
place by turning it clockwise.
4)
Either the blow nozzle with the larger or the smaller aperture can be attached. The blow nozzles
can simply be pushed over the lower blow pipe and locked into place by turning clockwise.
