Operation of the system
Startup procedure

To turn the system on, please follow the
sequence below:
▶ Connect the DC power cable to BATT 1 Switch
on the BESS
▶ Switch on the BESS Breaker located in the main
panel.
▶ Switch on the Breaker for backup supply located
in the protected loads panel.
▶ Switch on the BESS AC isolator adjacent to the
system (if available).
▶ Switch on the BESS Backup isolator adjacent to
the system (if available).
▶ Switch on the BESS using the green power
button located on the left side of the enclosure.
ATTENTION
ON position is extended OUT!
1. On-grid start
▶ Ensure green Power Disconnect button is in the
out position, then turn on supply breaker in main
load center.
▶ The indicator light will turn WHITE when the
start-up sequence has completed successfully.
2. Off-grid start (no utility grid)
▶ Press in and hold button until the eclipse is
green, this may take up to 5 minutes.
▶ The indicator light will turn GREEN when the
start-up sequence has completed successfully.
Shutdown procedure

To turn the system off, please follow the
sequence below:
▶ Switch off the BESS using the green power
button located on the left side of the enclosure.
