TO STOP ENGINE
1. Movethrottlecontrolleverto slow (turtle) position.
Wheneverpossible,graduallyreduceenginespeed
beforestoppingengine.
2. Movethrottlecontrolleverto STOPor OFF position.
3. Disconnectsparkplug wireand groundit to the
retainingpost to preventaccidentalstartingwhilethe
equipmentis unattended.

TO EMPTY BAG
1. Unhookbag strapsfrom the lowerhandle.
2. Unsnapbagclip from the top of lowerhandle.See
Figure4-4.
3. Graspbag handlewith one hand and pull lock rod
on mountingbracketwith otherhandtowardengine
to release.
4. Lift bagoff back of unit.
5. Twistthetwo buttonson the backof the bag to un-
lock and emptycontents.See Figure4-5. Hold bag
handleand bag clip whileemptyingthe contents.
6. Compressbag openingand foldinnerflapover
opening.
7. Foldouterflap overinner flap and insertbuttonson
the bag throughmetaloutlets.See Figure4-5.
8. Twistthe buttonsto lock bag. Placebagback onto
unitas instructed i nthe AssemblySection.
