You can find out how to dispose of the discarded product and its packaging from your
local authority or city council. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner. Observe the labeling on the various packaging materials.
Environmental protection information for disposal
The symbol of the 'crossed-out dustbin' means that you are required by law to
dispose of the marked products separately from unsorted municipal waste.
Never dispose of the device in ordinary household waste. This product is subject
to the provisions of the Directive 2012/19/EU on waste from electrical
and electronic equipment. Dispose of the device via an authorized disposal company or
the disposal facility of your municipality. As the end user, you are responsible for
deleting all personal data from the waste equipment to be disposed of. Addresses of free
return points can be obtained from your city or local government. Furthermore,
the distributor of the electronic devices is obliged to take them back free of charge.
Please observe the applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact the disposal
facility of your city or municipality.
Batteries
Used batteries and accumulators contained in electrical equipment that can be
removed without destroying it must be removed and disposed of
separately from it. They do not belong in the household waste. Batteries must
be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. For this
purpose, appropriate containers for disposal are available from battery distributors and
municipal collection points. For further information, please contact your local
waste disposal company or your municipal administration. In connection with the sale of
batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform
you of the following: you are legally obligated to return used batteries as the end user.
Risk of environmental damage due to incorrect disposal of batteries / accumulators!
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste treatment. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals possibly
contained in batteries are as follows:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.
