7.3. Empty the fuel.
• Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position, remove the carburetor drain screw.
• Turn the fuel valve to the ON position, drain the tank
• Replace carburetor drain screw.
7.4. Change the oil.
7.5. Remove spark plug, Add some clean oil into the cylinder, turn the
crankshaft several times to lubricate cylinder and piston, then reinstall spark
plug.
7.6. Cover the pump to prevent dust from entering.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING
If the engine won't start, check:
8.1. That there is fuel.
8.2. The fuel valve is not closed.
8.3. The fuel has not penetrated the carburetor...
• Once the fuel valve is in the ON position. Remove the carburetor drain plug
to check if gasoline has penetrated the carb.
Attention:
• If gasoline spills, clean and dry before testing the spark plugs or starting the
engine.
8.4. The motor switch is in the ON position.
8.5. The oil in the camshaft is sufficient.
8.6. The spark plug is in good condition.
• Remove spark plug cap, clean it, and adjust spark plug space.
• If there is no spark, change the spark plug.
8.7. If the engine still does not start, send the pump to an authorized repair
shop.
