Before first use, heat up the Atago Grill with the Atago Heat Reflector attached and allow
the fuel to burn for at least 30 minutes. The maximum possible quantity of a solid grill fuel to
be used must not exceed 30 briquettes. Wear appropriate clothing when grilling or cooking
with the Atago. Long, loose sleeves catch fire quickly. Always monitor the fire!
Intended use
The Atago Heat Reflector is suitable for outdoor use with the Atago Grill and solid fuel. The Atago Heat
Reflector reflects the heat of the fire in the preferred direction. In addition, the Atago Heat Reflector
provides a storage area for skewers and a grilling grate.
Transport instructions
Once the Atago Heat Reflector has cooled down completely, you can disassemble the individual
segments and clean each part with a soft cloth and dishwashing detergent to remove soot and ash
residue. The segments can then be stacked and stored in the Atago. Place a sheet of paper between
each segment to prevent scratching.
Always make sure to remove all ash residues thoroughly. Ash in combination with moisture causes
a chemical reaction that can also lead to rust on stainless steel. Therefore, always store your cleaned
Atago Heat Reflector and in a clean and dry Atago to effectively protect it from external influences.
