Cleaning, care and storage
After use, you simply let the fire burn down or smolder out.
Do not remove the ash until it has cooled down completely and dispose of it properly.
If you want to clean the Atago Heat Reflector thoroughly, rinse the individual segments with a soft
cloth or sponge and an environmentally friendly cleaner, such as the Petromax Bio Cleaner for soot
and fire marks, and water. Then dry the individual segments thoroughly with a soft cloth. If the Atago
Heat Reflector is cleaned in nature, dispose of the rinse water away from water bodies. Pay attention
to water protection and nature conservation areas!
The material of the Atago Heat Reflector gets a dark coloration through use. However, this natural patina
does not affect functionality and efficiency. Due to use over several hours or rapid temperature changes,
individual segments of the Atago Heat Reflector may become slightly deformed. If necessary, you can
bring the affected parts back into shape after they have cooled down by applying light pressure by hand.
Disposal instructions
Dispose of the materials separately by type in the designated collection systems. Comply with the
applicable disposal regulations in your country.
