POWER SUPPLY

 Remove the stereo carefully from the box, retaining the packaging for future use
(servicing).
 Connect the plug to a mains power inlet 230V AC ~ 50 Hz.
 Use the ON / OFF Power Switch on rear side (13) to switch ON the unit.
AM/FM TUNER
1. Switch ON the unit with the main switch (13)
2. Select the desired frequency band (AM or FM) with the Function Selector (2).
3. Tune to the desired radio station by turning the Tuning control (7).
4. Turn the Volume control knob (8) to the desired level
5. To turn off the unit switch the power (13) to the OFF position.
ANTENNA
 For FM reception there is a built-in wire FM antenna (5) at the rear of the unit. Extend the
antenna and move it around to obtain the best reception.
 For MW reception the signals are picked up through a built-in ferrite antenna. Your may
have to orient the unit to obtain the best reception.
SETTING THE TIME
Set the time using the TIMER knob.
SETTING THE ALARM
1. Set the alarm ON / OFF to 'ON' position.
2. Adjust the alarm time by the ALARM knob.
3. To switch OFF the alarm move the switch to OFF.
CLOCK BATTERY OPERATION
Open the battery cover on the rear panel of the unit, and insert one 1.5V AA battery (not in-
cluded) with the correct polarity. Then close the battery cover.
