Switching on and off*
Slide the on/off switch forwards:
- To switch off, depress the on/off switch, this will then jump to the"off'' position.
- Do not put the machine down when the motor is still running. Do not place the machine on a dusty
surface. Dust particles may enter the mechanism.

CAUTION: Never use the spindle lock to stop the motor.
CAUTION: Never use the machine for grinding magnesium workpieces.
6. MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Always ensure that the tool is turned off and unplugged before attempting to perform
an inspection or maintenance.
NOTE: Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the like. Discoloration, deformation or cracks may result.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the machina housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the ventilation
slots from dust and dirt. lf the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solents such as petral, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may damage the plastic
parts.
Lubrication
The machina requires no additional lubrication.
Faults
Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part, please contact your local dealer. In the back of this
manual you find an exploded view showing the parts that can be ordered.
Environment
In arder to prevent the machina from damage during transport, it is delivered in a sturdy packaging.
Most of the packaging materials can be recycled. Take these materials to the appropriate recycling
locations.
To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, any other maintenance or adjustment should be
performed by GOODYEAR Authorized Service Centers, always using GOODYEAR replacement parts.
