DESCRIPTION
The monochristalline solar panel ETFE / JACK 18 V - 100 W is light, portable and durable. The solar cells are
integrated onto a carrying case that can be quickly unfolded and folded away whenever needed.
The panel comes with a 5.5 mm jack cable and a 3.5 mm accessory.

PANEL PERFORMANCE
Solar panels do not necessarily supply energy at their rated power output. Reaching this value (100 W) depends on a
number of variables:
1. Light intensity: weather conditions affect the performance of the solar panel. It will perform better on clear days
than on cloudy, overcast or rainy days. The time of day also has an influence on the amount of light. The amount of
light is greater at midday than in the morning or afternoon.
2. Cell surface temperature: also affects the performance of the solar panel. The lower the surface temperature,
the higher the power output. However, the surface temperature of the panel can easily reach 60°C in summer. This
considerably reduces the performance of the panel, despite the higher amount of light at this time.
3. The angle of exposure of the solar panel: the positioning of the solar panel is important for its overall
performance. Under optimal lighting conditions, the solar panel will perform most efficiently when it is exposed to
light at 90°. It is possible to orientate the angle to best suit the direction of sunlight. It is less easy if it is fixed, for
example, on the roof of a motor home.
4. The grey areas: The slightest shadow on any of the cells can significantly reduce the performance of the panel.
