11-SET-UP AND ADJUSTMENTS

11.0 SAFETY
All the set-up operations and adjustments must be
carried out when the machine is stopped and the
EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON is locked.
11.1 TAPE LOADING ON THE TOP UNIT
Turn the knob 1 to activate the pneumatic circuit and
raise the upper head assembly by turning clockwise the
selector 2.

Insert a tape roll on the drum and push it fully forward.
Attach the tape leg to the threading tool (supplied with the tools kit).
WARNING! Very sharp blade. It may cause serious injuries.
Insert the plastic threading leader through the taping unit. Take care to
keep hands away from the tape cutting blades. (see section 3.11-g).
