Set FUNCTION to CD.
Press
OPEN
mark to open
the
disc
compartment and place a disc with the
printed
side
up.
Press Wll PLAY/PAUSE to start play.
The track number is displayed.
"1" indicates that the 1st track is playing, and "O 1"
indicates the 11th track. "1" and a flashing "o"
indicate the 21st, 31st ... 91st
track.
Turn VOLUME and TONE to adjust the sound.
9 STOP - Stops play.
/11 PLAY/PAUSE – Pauses play. To resume play, press
again.
1+, M SKIP/SEARCH – Searches for a particular point
during playback. Keep M or - pressed and then
release it.
– Skips to the beginning of a track. Press l++ or M
repeatedly.
REPEAT – Repeats a single track or all tracks. Select as
follows.
The REPEAT indicator flashes: A single track is played
repeatedly. Select a track with 1+4 or M.
The REPEAT indicator lights up: All tracks are played
repeatedly.
NOTE
. Do not place more than one disc in the disc
compartment.
Do not try to open the disc compartment during play.
Do not touch the lens. Doing so may cause malfunctions.

FM MODE/OSC
- Sets the FM sound to stereo or monaural.
ST: Reception is stereo. During stereo reception, the FM
STEREO indicator lights up.
MONO: When an FM stereo broadcast contains noise, set

monaural.
- If a high-pitched sound is heard during recording from
AM, set
this switch to another position.
NOTE
if
the unit picks up noise from other electrical appliances
nearby, like a TV or fluorescent lights, move the unit away.
To turn off the unit, set FUNCTION to (!) STANDBY
POWER so that the OPE/BATT indicator goes out.
To listen with the headphones, connect headphones
with
a stereo mini plug to the Q jack.
If an erroneous display or malfunction occurs, disconnect
the AC cord and remove all the batteries to turn off the
display. Then turn the power back on.
