Mounting the finger protection
1. For CATII 300V RMS operation the finger protection must be used
in combination with approved ground options (See Table 1)
2. Mount the finger protection on the probe
3. Make sure the finger protection is aligned and fixed over the 5mm
ground slot
Note that when the finger protection is mounted it can and shall not be
removed, the finger protection can be mounted for both handheld and
handsfree operation
Removing the finger protection
The finger protection can only be removed by cutting it off, removing it
without cutting it off will destroy the probe.
1. Use a wire cutter to gently cut the finger protection open.
2. Recycle the finger protection. Do not reuse a consumed finger
protection.
