If the filter isdirty,air circulation iscompromised andthe efficiency of the dehumidifier decreases.
Werecommend cleaning the filter approximately e verything3 months, o r whenconditions makeit necessary.
This unit is equipped witha washable filter. Follow the instructionsbelowto removeandcleanit.
(:leaning the Air Filter
1.Onthe backof the unit, removethe filter grille bygentlypullingthe handletowardsyourselflThenpull outthe filter.
2. if the filter is very dirty,washinwarmwater. Youcan alsogentlyuse a vacuumcleanerto removethe dustthat hascollected.
3.Allowfilter to dry completely, theninsert backinto the backof thedehumidifier.
4. Slidethe filter grillebackontothe backof the unit.
Storage
The dehumidifier shouldbedrainedbeforelongterm storage.
1.Turnoff andunplugthe dehumidifier.
2. Drainany remaining water inthe unit throughthe manual d rain outlet. ( see manual d rainingsectionfor details)
3.Wrapthe hoseand/or plugaroundthe storagehookson the backof the unit.
