STORAGE OF FOOD
It is essential to properly store dehydrated foods to maintain the quality and flavor of the
product. Make sure that all dry food is stored in a cool dark place; the fresher the food,
the longer its optimal quality will be maintained.
If possible, store food in the refrigerator or freezer. Alternatively, dry food can be stored
in a cool, dry place.
Be aware that light causes deterioration in the quality and nutritional values of food.
When storing food, we recommend storing it in a sealed bag or in darkened container
STORE FOOD
The high content of sugars and acids naturally contained in a lot of fruit allows you to
be kept for longer periods of time.
If properly packaged and stored, most fruit can last for about a year.
Vegetables can be stored for up to about 6 months.
Do not consume fruits and vegetables that show signs of deterioration.
REHYDRATE FOOD
Foods that have been dehydrated can be rehydrated in water.
This can be done in 3 ways:
Fruits and vegetables can be immersed in water for 2-6 hours. Make sure that are
refrigerated during this process.
They can be immersed in boiling water for 5-10 minutes until they have reached the
desired consistency.
You can also rehydrate fruit and vegetables by cooking them. Don't add
seasoning or sugar during this process. A good rule of thumb is to use 2 cups
of water to food and let it stew.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The trays of the dryer are dishwasher safe.
Never immerse the main unit in water or other liquids.
Clean with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing.
Do not use metal or abrasive brushes to clean the appliance, as it can damage the
surfaces.
Store the appliance in a clean, humid environment and preferably in its original
packaging.
