3. De-pressurise the compressor.
4. Isolate and de-pressurise the section of the compressed air network connected to the discharge val-
ve. Disconnect the compressor from the compressed air network.
5. Drain the oil if the compressor is lubricated.
7.5 Storage
At the end of a work cycle of the compressor, proceed as follows
•
Protect the compressor from dust and humidity storing it, if possible, in a clean, dry and well ventilated
place.
•
Make sure that the compressor does not get subjected to vibrations.
•
Should the compressor have to be packed, put anti-corrosion paper (VCI) inside the packing.
•
Store the compressor upright, not overturned or on its side.
•
Should the compressor get stored for a period of a year or more, rotate the bearings once a month to
change the position of the roller bearings. Apply to an Assistance Centre for this operation
