Switching off and storing the appliance

Remove the plug from the wall socket.

Allow the appliance to cool down completely.

Clean the appliance and all the accessories (see 'Cleaning
and maintenance') and dry them thoroughly.

Wind the power cord around the lugs on the base of the
appliance. See Figure 1.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Never move the appliance when it is switched on or is
still hot. Switch off the appliance and wait until it has
cooled down before moving it.
• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents.
• Make sure that the plug has been removed from the wall
socket before cleaning the appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Ensure that no moisture gets into the electrical parts of
the appliance.
