SoundEar® is a versatile noise indicator with a hard-
to-miss warning signal that lights up as soon as the
pre-set noise limit is exceeded.
Setting the noise limit
SoundEar® can be set so that the red warning light are
illuminated at 16 different noise limits from 40 to 115
decibels. Use the red dial on the back of the device. On
page 4 you will find advice on how to determine which
noise limit you should choose.

How to mount and connect
SoundEar® don't require any kind of special positioning
in the room but should be hung on a wall in order to carry
out correct measurements. It should be hung where
it is easy for everybody in the room to see it:

Push the transformer's thin cable plug into the little socket
on the bottom of the cabinet and plug the transformer into
an ordinary electric socket (230 V). The green outer ear will
light up to show you that your noise indicator is turned on,
ready for action.

– before you start
Check that there is an electric socket nearby (150 cm).
Screw a screw (with 8-9mm ø head) into the wall
about 150-200 cm above the floor.
Hang the cabinet on the screw using the hole in the
back.
Make sure that the cabinet is securely fixed.
