Entsorgungshinweise
8.1
Produkt
Elektrische und elektronische Geräte dürfen nach der europäischen WEEE Richtlinie nicht mit
dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Deren Bestandteile müssen getrennt der Wiederverwertung
oder Entsorgung zugeführt werden, weil giftige und gefährliche Bestandteile bei unsachgemäßer

Safety instructions
The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.

Notes for network separation
The product has no power switch and may be used only in easily accessible outlets to quickly remove it
in an emergency and after use.
Voltage-free only with pulled plug.
• In case of emergency, after use and during a thunderstorm, pull the mains plug out of the socket di-
rectly at the plug housing.
Overload
• Do not plug in a row.
• Do not operate irons, radiant heaters or other similar devices that pose a fire hazard using a remote-
controlled socket.
Risk of electric shock
These remote controlled sockets are EXCLUSIVELY intended for connection to protective contact so-
ckets of type CEE 7/3. Otherwise, a correct connection with the protective conductor and thus safe pro-
tection against electric shock cannot be guaranteed.
• Do not insert objects into air vents or sockets!
• Do not open the housing.
• Do not modify product and accessories.
• Do not short-circuit connectors and circuits.

Operation and storage conditions
Do not operate a device if it is not in working order. In such cases, it must be secured against unintentio-
nal further use.
• Do not rotate, bend or mechanically strain otherwise in inserted state.
• Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect condition.
• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and me-
chanical pressure.
• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other problems non-recoverable by
the documentation, contact your dealer or producer.
Battery hazards
The remote control is equipped with a lithium-manganese button cell.
The batteries are replaceable.
If the button cell is swallowed, this can lead to severe internal burns and death.
• Seek immediate medical attention if you believe someone may have swallowed or otherwise inges-
ted the battery.
• Never use batteries when they are dented, leaked or damaged.
Mechanical damage can cause gaseous substances to escape, which can be highly irritating, flamma-
ble or toxic.
• Remove leaked, deformed or corroded batteries from the product and dispose them by appropria-
te protectives.
• If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse af-
fected areas with water and seak medical attention immediately.
Do not throw into fire.
• Extreme heat can lead to explosion and/or leakage of corrosive liquid.

Description and function
2.1
Product
The product is a set consisting of a remote control and a remote controlled socket for convenient switching
of electronic devices or lamps with a load of max. 1100 W. The remote controlled socket and the remote
control are also available separately. The products are equipped with an operating LED. With the remote
control, up to four remote controlled sockets can be switched on and off over a distance of up to 30 m.

Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use and its intended purpose. This product is
not intended for commercial use. We do not permit using the device in other ways like
described in chapter „Description and Function" or in the „Safety Instructions". Use the product
only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
IP20: This product is protected against medium sized foreign objects, but not against water ingress.

Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2. Compare the specifications of all used devices and ensure compatibility.
5
Remote control
5.1
Activating the remote control
• Pull the contact protector out of the battery compartment by the tab.
The remote control is now ready for use.
5.2
Changing the battery
The remote control is supplied with a battery. If the function of the remote control decreases or the bat-
tery is empty, a new battery must be inserted. The direction in which the battery must be inserted is mar-
ked on the product.
1. Turn the cover of the battery compartment (3) counterclockwise to open it.
2. Remove the empty battery and dispose of it properly.
3. Insert a new battery (type CR2032, 3 V).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and turn it clockwise to close it.

Connection and operation
6.1
Connection and pairing with the remote control
Danger!
Fire hazard due to overload!
• Never plug in several radio-controlled sockets or socket strips one after the other.
• Never operate irons, radiant heaters or similar devices that pose a fire hazard via a radio-controlled
socket.
1. Plug the remote-controlled socket into an easily accessible earthed socket.
The operating LED of the remote-controlled socket (4) now starts to flash slowly. The socket is in
teach-in mode. If no action is taken, the teach-in mode is exited again after 29 seconds. In this case,
the socket must be pulled out and plugged in again to reactivate the teach-in mode.
2. Press one of the ON buttons (2) (1 ON, 2 ON or 3 ON).
The remote control now couples with the remote controlled socket. After successful pairing, the opera-
ting LED of the remote controlled socket stops flashing and starts to light up.
3. You can now switch the socket on and off by pressing the ON or OFF button of the respective chan-
nel.
If the power LED of the socket lights up, the power is on. If it is not lit, the power is off.
4. Connect a device with a maximum load of 1100 W to the remote-controlled socket.
6.2
Deleting the selected channel or all channels
1. Unplug the remote-controlled socket from the socket and plug it in again.
The operation LED flashes slowly in teach-in mode.
2. Press the OFF button of the selected channel to delete a channel.
OR
Press the ALL-OFF button on the remote control to delete all channels.
The operation LED of the remote controlled socket flashes quickly for 3-4 seconds. The selected
channel or all channels have now been deleted. The socket can then be paired again.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE!
Material damage
• Always unplug the product before cleaning it.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
• Remove the batteries / rechargeable batteries when not in use for a longer period of time.

Disposal instructions
8.1
Product
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be
disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each
other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute
the environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and electronic devices to the
producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are
regulated in national right. The symbol on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging alludes to
these terms. With this kind of waste separation, application, and waste disposal of used devices you
achieve an important share to environmental protection.

8.2
Batteries
(Rechargeable) batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Their components have
to be supplied separately to the recycling or disposal, because toxic and dangerous ingredients
can harm the environment if not disposed of sustainably. As a consumer, you are obliged to
return them at the end of their service lives to the manufacturer, the sales outlet or established
for this purpose, public collection points for free. Details regulates the respective country's law.
The symbol on the product, the instruction manual and / or the packaging draws attention to those
provisions. With this kind of material separation, recovery and disposal of waste (rechargeable) batteries
you make an important contribution to protecting our environment.
