Trouble shooting
Problem
Functions cannot be activated. Appliance is not plugged in.
No coffee comes out of the
swing-out fi lter.
The coffee is too thin.

Cause
Socket is defective.
The glass carafe is not properly placed
underneath the outlet.
Grind level is too coarse.
The
button for mild coffee has been
pressed.
Too little ground coffee was used.
Remedy
Connect appliance to mains.
Check the socket with a different appliance.
Check that the carafe is properly positioned on the
hot-plate, pushing the outlet valve up.
Select a fi ner grind level.
Press the
button for normal coffee.
Increase the amount.
