Designation of Packing
The machines or machine parts are supplied in stable packings.
The packings have been designated with letters and identification symbols that satisfy the international
symbol standards. Observe these designations for the regular handling and transportation of the packed
machine parts.

Safe Transportation of Pumps / Pump Sets

∙
Only a transportation professional may handle pump units and heavy pumps.
∙
Heavy pumps are provided with tapped holes for transport purposes. These are suitable for pump
transport only.
∙
Do not transport heavy pumps and pump sets but with appropriate lifting equipment.
∙
The shipping bolts for the motor must not be used for the transport of the pump unit.
∙
Pump units which don't have to be transported by means of hoists must not be carried by 1 person
alone. Wear safety gloves and safety shoes.
∙
During the transport of hot pumps, hot pump medium may leak out.
Wear suitable protective clothing.
