device housing heats up to a high temperature. Do not touch the housing with
your hands, lift the device from the stand only by the handle (5). Do not open
the lid (7) (See illustration b) during boiling water and the first 5 minutes after
boiling. When pouring water out from the device immediately after boiling, do
not bring your hand or other body parts close to the kettle spout (8). Hot steam
can burn the skin. Do not pour water below the "MIN" and above the "MAX"
marks on the inside of the device.
Preparing for operation
Before the first use, fill the kettle to the "MAX" mark, boil and pour the water out.
Operating the device
Plug in the power cord (3) located on the kettle stand (2) (See picture c). To
open the lid (6) press the button (7). Pour water (1) into the kettle but do not
exceed the "MAX" level. Turn on the switch (4). The LED indicator on the switch
will light up. After the water in the kettle boils, the device will turn off
automatically. The LED indicator on the switch (4) will go out. Remove the
power cord plug from the power outlet when you finish using it.
Maintenance
Remove limescale on the inside of the kettle regularly. When using the kettle
(3–5 times a day) it is recommended to descale it once a month if the water in
your area is hard or very hard. If the water is soft or medium-hard, you can
remove the scale once every 2–3 months. For descaling you can use 8 % vinegar
or citric acid solution (30 g of citric acid per 0.5 L. of water). Pour 0.5 L. of vinegar
or citric acid solution into the kettle and leave it for 2 hours without boiling.
Then pour the contents of the kettle out and boil the water in it 4–5 times
before the next use. The outer surface of the kettle can be cleaned with a dry
