The thermostatic temperature regulator is not correctly calibrated.
The correct calibration of the thermostatic temperature regulator should be verified at 38°C.
Sanitana thermostatic regulators are calibrated and verified complying with the norm EN111
Standard, complying with the following:
- The calibration only refers to the temperature of 38°C.
- The calibration is performed with 3 bars pressure both to hot and cold water.
- The calibration is performed using cold water at 15°C and hot water at 65°C.
If the hydraulic installation supplying the column has different figures from the ones used for
the factory standard calibration, a manual calibration of the thermostatic may be necessary
complying with the following procedures:
Manual calibration of the thermostatic temperature regulator.
1. Measure the water temperature with a standard thermometer.
2. Slowly turn the temperature regulator control (B) keeping the safety button pressed down
(A) until reaching a constant temperature of 38°C.
3. When the temperature of 38°C is obtained do not turn the control any longer.
4. Remove the lid of the thermostatic regulator control (C).
5. Loosen the screw (D) and remove the control body (B).
6. Put the control body again (B) lining up the 38°C mark in the correct position.
7. Screw it again (D) and place the lid (C).
