(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
WARNING
1.
To reduce the risk of injury, charge Durofix Tools designated battery packs only in Durofix
Tools designated chargers. Other types of chargers may cause personal injury or damage. Do not
wire a battery pack to a power supply plug or car cigarette lighter. Battery packs will be
permanently disabled or damaged.
2.
Use Durofix Tools designated battery packs only on Durofix Tools designated tools. Use with
other tools may result in risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
3.
Do not charge battery pack in rain, snow, damp or wet locations. Avoid dangerous in using.
4.
Do not use the charger and battery pack in an explosive environment (such as heavy oil and
gas, dust, flammable substances), which may cause a fire
5.
Do not place the charger on a flammable surface (For example: such as carpets, blankets,
cloth, paper, plastic, wood......etc. flammable items).
6.
Especially avoid placing the charger on carpets and rugs; they are not only flammable, but
they also obstruct vents of the charger.
7.
Place the charger on a stable, solid, nonflammable surface (such as a stable metal workbench
or concrete floor) at least 200cm (6.6ft) height should be cleared and 100cm (3.3ft) away from
all flammable objects, such as drapes or walls. Keep a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector
in the area.
8.
Need to keep the charger in a well-ventilated environment. The battery charger gets hot during
use. The charger's heat and build up to unsafe levels and create a fire hazard if it does not receive
adequate ventilation, due to an electrical fault, or if is used in a hot environment. Therefore, do not
block the charger vents. The area around the vent should be kept empty and well ventilated. Do not
place soft objects on the bottom of it. This substance will block the vents and cause internal
overheating.
9.
Maintain charger cord. When unplugging charger, pull plug rather than cord to reduce the risk of
damage to the electrical plug and cord. Never carry charger by its cord. Keep cord from heat, oil
and sharp edges. Make sure cord will not be stepped on, tripped over or subjected to damage or
stress. Do not use charger with damaged cord replaced immediately with identical replacement
parts.
10.
Do not use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary. Using the wrong, damaged or
improperly wired extension cord could result in the risk of fire and electrical shock. If an extension
cord must be used, plug the charger into a properly wired 16 gauge or larger extension cord with
pins that are the same number, size and shapes as the pins on the charger. Make sure that the
extension cord is in good electrical condition.
11.
Charger is rated for 100~240 volt AC only. Charger must be plugged into an appropriate
receptacle.
12.
Use only recommended attachments. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the
battery charger or battery pack manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock or personal
injury.
13.
Unplug charger when not in use. Remove battery packs from unplugged chargers.
