CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning, always unplug
it from the electrical outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool
before cleaning it.
1.
Base, power cord and kettle must
never be immersed into water or
any other liquid.
2.
Wipe the kettle and base with a
moist cloth and a drop of washing-
up liquid. Never use an aggressive
scouring or steel wool.
DESCALING
1.
To keep the appliance operating
efficiently and to prolong its ser-
vice life, it should be descaled
regularly, depending on the hard-
ness of your water.
2.
Use off-the-shelf descaling pro-
ducts for electronic kettles and
comply with the manufacturer's
instructions. To descale, fill the
kettle half full, maximum, other-
wise the liquid can boil over and
can cause severe injuries.

3.
Power cord and plug must be
dried completely before being
used.
4.
Descale the kettle regularly, pos-
sibly once a week, depending on
the hardness of the water and
the frequency of use. Scale sig-
nificantly diminishes the heating
performance of the kettle.
3.
Heat the liquid (do not boil!) and
allow it to sit for some time in the
electronic kettle.
4.
Pour the descaling solution out of
the kettle.
5.
Then fill it with fresh water and
bring to a boil. Pour this water out
as well. Then rinse out the kettle
at least twice with clean water.
