Make sure that the mains parameters comply with the ones shown on the device's name-
plate before connecting the power cord plug of the device. Before each use, check the condi-
tion of the device, including the power cord and plug. If any faults are noticed, do not use the
device. Damaged cables and cords must be replaced with new ones at a specialist service
centre. The protection rating specifi ed in the table with technical data will be ensured if the
device will be connected to a socket with at least the same protection rating. Make sure that
the power cord plug has been disconnected from the mains socket before carrying out main-
tenance on the device.
Keep the device out of reach of bystanders, especially children. Make sure that the device
is out of the reach of bystanders, especially children also during operation. Move the device
using the handle; do not move the device by pulling by the power cord. If the vacuum cleaner
is used as a blower, it is forbidden to direct the hose outlet toward people and animals. Check
the condition of the fl exible hose at regular intervals. Never use the vacuum cleaner if its
fl exible hose is damaged.
OPERATING THE DEVICE
Preparing for operation
Before fi rst use, install the wheels on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner tank. Press the pin of each wheel into the hole in the tank
(II). Make sure that all wheels have been installed, are at the same height, and the pins are fully in the tank holes (III).
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a fl oat (IV), which cuts off the air supply every time the tank is overfi lled. Before starting work,
make sure that the fl oat and the guides in which it moves are not damaged, are clean and ensure free movement of the fl oat. The
fl oat operation is each time indicated by a louder motor operation and a decrease in suction force.
Warning! It is forbidden to use the vacuum cleaner without an operable fl oat.
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with two fi lters – sponge fi lter intended for dry and wet work and material fi lter for dry work only.
The sponge fi lter is mounted on the fl oat housing (V). Make sure that the fi lter has thoroughly covered the fl oat guides.
The material fi lter is placed on the tank edge (VI). Make sure that the edge of the fi lter adheres to the tank edge around the entire
circumference.
Warning! Always use the vacuum cleaner with the sponge fi lter installed. Use the material fi lter only when sucking dry debris.
Place the cover of the vacuum cleaner on the tank edge so that it adheres to it along its entire circumference. Press the cover
against the tank with the latches (VII). Pay attention to the markers on the cover between which each of the latches should be
placed. This is the only way to ensure suffi cient tightness between the cover and the tank.
If the device is to be used as a vacuum cleaner, attach the suction hose to the inlet. The hose connection has tabs that should
match the air inlet guides. Then rotate the end of the hose to lock it in the inlet (VIII).
If the device is to be used as a blower, connect the suction hose to the air outlet.
Connect the tube (IX) or the selected suction nozzle to the other end of the hose. It is also possible to connect the suction nozzle
to the tube (X). The tubes can be joined together to obtain the length most suited to the type of work selected.
The tank has an opening closed with a screwed cover in the lower part. When working on the pond, remove the opening cover and
connect the drain hose (XI) instead. Attach the drain fi lter to the other end of the hose using a string.
Starting the vacuum cleaner
CAUTION! It is forbidden to use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum hot ash. The temperature of debris drawn in by the vacuum
cleaner must not exceed 40° C.
The vacuum cleaner can operate in the continuous mode or in the automatic mode recommended for emptying the ponds.
To activate the continuous mode, move the power switch to the position marked "I". Now the vacuum cleaner works in the con-
tinuous mode.
To turn the vacuum cleaner off , move the power switch to the position marked "O".
