Forbidden uses
- The working pressures of this product have been tested at 23ºC
in standard conditions. It is not recommended to use the device in
extreme temperatures, if in doubt, please contact us.
- It is not allowed to filter anything other than water.
The water must not exceed a temperature of 50°C and must not
be less than 5°C.
- If fertilisers are used, they should always be injected after the
filter.
High frequency of washing or continuous washing
1.- Check if the cartridge is dirty.
2.- It is possible that the quality of the water has gotten worse. In
that case the flow rate should be reduced, or more filters installed.
3.- High flow rate at the start of irrigation. There is a high pressure
drop and the differential pressure control devices erroneously de-
tect that the filter is dirty. Install a flow control valve or a manual
slow-opening valve towards the direction of irrigation.
4.- Check that all the drainage outlets, including the wastewater
discharge valve, are at atmospheric pressure, and that they do not
increase or boost the drainage flow rate.
Washing does not occur
1.- Check the minimum pressures maintained throughout the was-
hing cycle, as well as the minimum washing flow rates, with the table
for each filter model.
2.- The auxiliary filter should be cleaned if it is stuck.
3.- Clean with acid or replace: connecting microtubes, needle valves,
restrictors, Cebollo valves or solenoids (if it is electric) clogged with
deposits.
4.- Check and/or change: worn out gaskets or perforated membranes
Water leaks
Dripping or constant water leakage from microtubes are signs of
malfunction. Disassemble them in the direction opposite to that
of the water, from the dripping point to the control element which
allows the water to pass, cleaning each element. In case of worn out
gaskets or perforated membranes, remove, check, and change all of
them for safety, including internal ones.
Cartridge with broken screen
Cartridge with broken screen can lead to blockages in the emitters.
Make sure that sharp objects cannot enter by placing a screen befo-
re the filter. The screen may also be worn out due to abrasion, nor-
mal operation, and silica, weakening it and causing it to break. We
suggest replacing the screen before it breaks.
