IMPORTANT: The electronic board
integrated in the pump has been
programmed to guarantee 3 levels of
protection:
Protection against rotor lock-up :
A blockage or abnormal operation of the
rotor may occur due to excessive fouling.
In this case, the internal electronic board
will make 20 attempts to start, followed
by a short interval of time, then
20 more attempts to restart the pump
properly. If the pump does not restart
automatically after the 20+20 attempts,
the circuit board will remain powered but
the motor will stop. In this case, to restart
the pump, it will be necessary to remove
and reinsert the plug into the socket.
Protection against dry running and
thermal overheating :
This protection comes into play if the
pump runs without water or if the motor
overheats. In both cases, the pump
stops. The motor will also stop when the
pump is no longer supplied with water.
As above, to restart the pump it will be
necessary to remove and reinsert the
plug into the socket.
CAUTION: Do not underestimate the
magnetic force of the rotor assembly. If
you accidentally lose your grip and the
shaft hits the pure ceramic rear bearing,
the risk of damaging the bearing is very
high. Such damage will result in the
replacement of the damaged part.
5. CLEANING
CLEANING THE FILTER MEDIA WITH
THE PATENTED SYSTEM
The COMBO PREMIUM filter unit is
equipped with a patented system that
makes it easy to clean the filter media
without having to open the filter.
CLEANING OPERATIONS
• Stop the pump connected to the filter by
removing the power supply.
• Raise handle 10 until it locks.
• Turn both selectors 11 'FILTER/ CLEAN'
in line with the word CLEAN.
• Press the flow switch 20 with the palm
of your hand and turn it clockwise until it
stops. Now release it.
• Reactivate the pump by reconnecting it
to the power supply.
• Press handle 10 until the filter media
are crushed. Repeat the operation until
the water coming out of the drain hose
is clean. (Be careful if the water contains
chlorine, drain in a suitable place,
preserving the plants and grass). This
cleaning system uses the water in the
pool, so once the filter media have been
cleaned, reset the pool to the desired
level.
