5.1 Overview

5.2 Switching on and off

Switching on
1. Press the control button (5) once in order to switch the instrument on.
⇒ The LED blinks orange.
2. Automatic adjustment in progress.
⇒ The LED blinks orange again until the process has finished.
3. Automatic adjustment has finished.
⇒ The LED blinks green periodically.
⇒ The speaker initiates a light tone.
⇒ The gas presence detector is ready for operation.
Switching off
Press the control button (5) for 3 seconds until the instrument stops making any
noise and the LED has gone out. The gas presence detector switches itself off after
approx. 5 minutes of inactivity in order to save the battery.
